Good questions
Everything you'd want to ask.
Are LIVETH scents inspired by real designer perfumes?+
Yes. Every scent is built as an inspired-by interpretation of a designer fragrance, and we name the original on the product page so you know exactly what you're getting. LIVETH is an independent brand — we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the houses we reference, and we don't use their bottles, logos, or names on our packaging.
So is it the same as the original?+
It's an interpretation, not a copy. Our perfumers build the same structure — the notes that open it, carry it, and stay on your skin — using high-concentration fragrance oils. Most people find it very close; some notes read slightly differently on skin because the raw materials differ. That's normal for any inspired-by fragrance.
How long does it last?+
Expect roughly 6–8 hours on skin and longer on clothing, depending on the family. Fresh and citrus scents sit closer to the shorter end; woody, amber, and gourmand scents last longest.
How should I apply it?+
Spray 2–4 times onto clean, slightly moisturised skin at pulse points: wrists, the base of the neck, the chest. Don't rub your wrists together — it crushes the top notes. One spray on a scarf or collar will carry the scent much longer.
How do I store it?+
Keep the bottle in its box, away from sunlight, heat, and the bathroom shower steam. Stored properly, an unopened bottle keeps for years; an opened one is at its best within 18–24 months.
Can I try before I commit to a full bottle?+
Yes — every full bottle order includes a sample to try. And if the bottle is unopened and the box is intact, you can return it for a full refund. Details are on our returns page.
What size are the bottles?+
50 ml / 1.7 fl. oz., in a glass bottle inside a kraft box. Every scent is the same size and the same price tier — under $40.
How do I know which one to pick?+
Start with the For when… line on each card rather than the notes. If you want it narrowed down further, use Find your scent — pick a mood and we'll show you the matching bottles.
What each family means
Fragrance families are just groupings of notes that behave alike. Here's the short version, without the jargon.
Fresh & citrus
Smells like: Bergamot, lemon, grapefruit, neroli, green leaves, clean musk.
Wear it: Mornings, heat, gym bags, first days back. Bright and short-lived — spray more, spray again.
Floral
Smells like: Rose, jasmine, iris, orange blossom, peony, violet.
Wear it: Soft, romantic, and easy in daylight. Ranges from powdery and quiet to full-bloom and loud.
Fruity & sweet
Smells like: Pear, raspberry, pineapple, lychee, vanilla, caramel.
Wear it: Playful and social. Reads younger and warmer; excellent for evenings out and cold weather.
Woody
Smells like: Cedar, sandalwood, vetiver, oud, dry papery woods.
Wear it: Grounded and adult. Works year-round and layers well over almost anything.
Amber & spice
Smells like: Amber, tonka, cinnamon, cardamom, incense, resins.
Wear it: Warm, dense, close to the skin. Autumn, winter, and nights that go late.
Aquatic & aromatic
Smells like: Sea salt, mineral notes, lavender, sage, mint.
Wear it: Clean and open. The most inoffensive of the families — safe for offices and shared spaces.
Gourmand
Smells like: Vanilla, coffee, cocoa, almond, praline, milk.
Wear it: Edible and comforting. High compliment rate, high projection — go light.
